Personal aviation briefing import

Pilot Assistant Gmail is a personal-use tool for retrieving selected flight briefing emails and PDF attachments from an authorized Gmail account, then preparing locally stored flight-plan information for Pilot Assistant.

How it works

Uses the Gmail API with read-only OAuth permission granted by the account owner.
Searches for Lido flight briefing emails and downloads matching PDF attachments.
Validates, extracts and archives the resulting briefing data on a private Synology NAS.
Does not send, modify or delete Gmail messages.

A private utility

This integration is operated for personal use. The private application, mailbox, flight plans and NAS are not accessible from this public information website.

Control of access

The Gmail account owner can revoke access at any time through Google Account third-party connections or disable the importer on the NAS.
